KENYA AT CROSSROADS - HOW OUR STAFF ARE AFFECTED

“It pains to see children running as fast as they can away from skirmishes.  It pains to see children wet, cold and hungry.  Something is really wrong with that picture.  Children are supposed to be protected from all of these.  They are supposed to feel safe.”

TWR staff in Nairobi continue to be affected by the unrest.  Many are exhausted from keeping a continual vigil and many have witnessed gruesome acts of violence.  Work on the station in Voi is carrying on however, and programmes continue to be recorded in Nairobi.

SIFA FM is a project of TWR-Kenya.  A lot of prayer, effort and energy has gone into making this project come to fruition.  Many of the key players have experienced violence and crime on a first-hand basis, but thanks to the mercy of God, they are able to continue working to spread the message of Jesus Christ through the medium of radio.

PRAYER :

  1. Please pray for those who have lost family members in the violence and also those who have lost their homes and possessions (families who have to literally start all over again);
  2. Pray for God to help them to forgive;
  3. Thank God that things seem to be calm for now, but pray for total peace.
