HIV /AIDS PROGRAMMES IN ZIMBABWE - A LISTENER RESPONDS...

A touching letter received from Zimbabwe reads “I pray for the continuous growth of Trans World Radio so that it can keep on reaching out to people across the world..”

“To Trans World Radio, Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am a regular listener to Trans World Radio programmes and they have touched my life in many ways. These spiritually uplifting and soul searching programmes aired daily on your station have helped me, and continue to help me, to cope with the many challenges that I am facing.

Recently I listened to an informative programme entitled “Saving a Generation”. This particular programme was on the subject of HIV/AIDS, and I found it to be very educational.

Undoubtedly HIV/AIDS is one of the greatest challenges facing the world today. Most people here in Africa (south of the Sahara) are affected in one way or the other. If one is not infected then one is definitely affected. I lost my only brother and his wife to the disease a few years ago.

I will be very grateful if you can send me detailed information on HIV/AIDS. I am also interested in finding out how I can get involved in the Trans World Radio ministry. I shall look forward to your reply.

I pray for the continuous growth of Trans World Radio so that it can keep on reaching out to people across the world.”
