Save-A-Generation is the umbrella name for developmental
programmes based on a biblical world view. These include
Africa Challenge, AIDS
Challenge and Generation
of Hope. These
programmes are designed to present the Gospel of Jesus
Christ as its primary focus, while demonstrating the love
of God through programming that will enable people in Africa
to improve their lives in very practical ways.
Africa Challenge focuses on family values, business
ethics, health and hygeine, education, agriculture and similar
subjects. AIDS
Challenge is TWR’s contribution
to the battle against HIV/AIDS include programmes such as
the popular The Honey that
Kills and Living with AIDS.
TWR has recently partnered with a number of on-the-ground
AIDS organisations to pool resources and make the programmes
as effective as possible.
Trans World Radio has the vision to see the Save A
Generation project expand during 2004 through 2009
to include countries in West Africa bringing the love of
Jesus Christ to millions more so that those who think
they have nothing left to live for, like Job in the Old Testament,
can discover they have everything for which to live.
The future of the world lies
in the hands of the next generation. Here a father
takes time to explain to his son how a waterfall
cuts into a mountain.
