Thru The Bible is a 30-minute Bible study radio programme presented by Dr J Vernon McGee. This programme takes the listener through the entire Bible in 5 years, going back and forth between the Old and New Testaments. Dr McGee was an active participant in this radio ministry for 47 years but when his health began to fail, plans were made for how the series would continue. The message remains the same and the English "voice" of Thru the Bible continues to be Dr McGee, through the use of archived recordings. After Dr McGee’s death in December 1988, the programme's reach continued to grow. Today, Thru the Bible is a worldwide ministry heard in more than 100 languages and dialects around the world. Their mission is simple and the same one Dr. McGee himself embraced: To take the whole Word to the whole world.
